180 Days of Boasting about God – Day 66

Take it easy… As promised, here is part 2 to yesterday’s post.

I’m still on my Conversation with Daddy from February 27. During that convo, he also said:

My child,  you are pushing yourself too hard to do everything.

I agreed and made up in my mind to not push myself as hard. The next few days had me reading and reading in preparation for my classes. However, when I felt like resting, I did just that. I remember one night I wanted to prepare for 2 courses. I got home and started to read and told Daddy that my cut off time would be at 12am. However, a little after 11pm, I felt the urge to go to sleep but I was pushing to reach the time. At 11:30pm, I stopped struggling with God about the time and decided to go to sleep.

The following day, believe it or not, BOTH classes were canceled. And now, today, I stop and look at what God is still doing. Due to COVID19, the institution gave it’s students a 3 week break!! I have 3 weeks to catch up on the areas I was falling behind on, and to read ahead.

Now imagine if I wasn’t obedient and decided to push ahead 🙆🙆. I’d probably have driven myself crazy or worse. When he speaks, listen.

Serve a God who can see around the corners. Serve a God who knows it all.

Nothing takes him by surprise. He is the Almighty God, the Most High… Yet he loves me as a father loves his child. Yahweh, I love you.

Thanks, Rich. God is simply awesome and I just love how he shows that he cares about us.
