I hope it rains tomorrow…this is the worldview
To wish that things will turn out as you would want them to be
But with all this wishing, the belief of certainty is never really true
For while the world wishes, they are prepared to say, “oh well, this just wasn’t meant to be”.
I hope to see God… this is the Biblical view
To know and expect that things will turn out just as God promised they will be
The truth is, when we hope to see a change
And hope that our problems will be over
It’s not about wishing
It’s not about waiting to see IF…
It’s all about knowing and believing that these things must be.
Our hope isn’t manifested from human thoughts
Our hope begins from a spiritual source
As Faith is the substance of what we hope for.
Faith is the ingredient that helps us to declare…
My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
On Christ the solid rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand; all other ground is sinking sand.
With faith that God is a deliverer…
David cried out, “Why are thou cast down oh my soul? Hope thou in God”
With faith that God knows everything…
Paul hoped that even though he only knew in part, one day he would know the whole.
From expecting for an end to suffering and pain
To seeing God seated on His throne
The Christian hope declares that, without a doubt, we believe that these things we will see.
On Christ the solid rock we stand, Our hope began when Jesus died on the cross Why are your souls cast down? Hope thou in God
